Heidi’s connection with the Earth and the elements began at an early age. She grew up surrounded by her maternal Grandparents 800 acre Dairy farm. She was fortunate to also have her paternal Grandmother close by. Both her Grandmother’s introduced her to the fauna and flora of Southern New Hampshire. As she grew she devolved a unique kinship with the land and the spirits of the forest. The Celtic wisdom and spirit’s of her ancestor’s gave her a solid foundation of interpreting the natural world and the understanding of the sacred connection between the land and it inhabitants.
She began studying the elements in earnest in the 1980’s. She delved deep into esoteric knowledge in the 1990’s. This knowledge lead her into the world of tarot where she discovered the depth of her intuitive nature.
The path of the wild continued in the 2000’s when she began nurturing the gifts of her grandmother’s. She became a working apprentice at Wise Way herbals. She took several workshops with Susun Weed. She eventually earned her certificate in Therapeutic Herbalism in 2002 at Blazing Star Herbal School. The wild herbal path lead her to meet many Native American healers. She also was privileged to participated in many indigenous ceremonies of North and South America. She studied the craft of her ancestor’s with Christopher Penzac earning her second degree of the craft.
Heidi is also a Level II Reiki practitioner, A Professional intuitive Tarot reader with Claire cognizance abilities among other claires. She is an eclectic Artist. A wool spinner, and uses the knowledge of the herbs to dye wool. She is expert at house hold crafts of sewing, knitting, crocheting and more. She attended the workshop “Goddess to the Core” with Serria Bender. She is a member of the Ra Ma Institute’s Aquarian Woman Leadership Society. She was coached in singing for two years by Jane Waters a renowned Philadelphian Soprano. She enjoys singing and drumming when the chance arises. She was a founding member and Secretary of the Newport Earth Institute a 501(c) 3 with Vincent Bridges and Marty Cain in the 1990’s.
She co-host a podcast called “Earth and Body Ecosystem” with Joyce Wheeler. She is available for speaking engagement’s on Herbalism, Earth Ecosystems and Tarot. She can be contacted for tarot readings and herbal consulting.
